small update...

hey all, (adam...congrats!! Austin and I were stoked...oh and when I got up early one morning, my landlay said "ne chevo cebya" haha, I thought of you)...

so it's now really hot here! but I love it! we've gone the hermitage, to some cheap rinok (market) and I watched pirates of the carb 3 in russian this morning...waeesome stuff!! so, I wanted to try to put some pictures on this computer, but it doesnn't look like i have a usb drive here...but my brach pres said that he has a burner that I can put all my pictures on a cd with, and then I can use that here, I think...I'm not for sure...I might just have to wait until I get home...or I might have to pay extra for a different cafe. we shall see.

I am loving it here even more. I am getitng a little more comfrotable with the language (at least with my landlady and in class) and I am excited to little things that will allow me to learn more...like volunteering at the hermitage...awesome! I cannot wait to be able to do that! that's be so cooll...and hopefully I'd lern so much. and that is such an amazing building! wow...

sos, my landlady picked some random violets and put them in a vase on our ktiched table, and made us come in to look at them. lol because we didn't notice them she was upset...

oh and wait, the babushkas like to chop off branches of trees. lol apparently that's not normal for st. pete's but it is for my area!

at FHE there were more missionaries than members at the beginning...wow I love the church here! and I love my friends! It's such a blast to get together with all of them!

um...my classes are going well. I did well on my first 2 exams...and I wam working so hard...2 months. it's really an ordeal of endurance...cI can go at this pace for 2 months...because then I won't be ABLE to...so I'm making it all count as I can.

well, I have about 10 mins left and I need to try and figure something out with my email...

btw, st. pete's is now 304 yeras old! yup, we had a birthday on sunday and celebrated it with a very strange/advertising parade. but ice cream is YUMMY!

less than a month until my birthday...and we''l be gone somehwere. I forget where.
